A video showed how the fight broke out during United’s match against their old rivals Leeds in their pre-season tour of Australia.
Nearing the end of the Wednesday night match in the Optus Stadium in Perth, where Solskjær’s side stomped the Whites 4-0, the battle took place in the stands.
The video was uploaded to @LeedsEverywhere, a twitter fan account for the supporters of the club. See the video below-

Women can be heard screaming, as more and more fans of both the teams joined in the brawl. Security guards surged in to control the situation, and handed the jostling men to the police.
Caitlin Rose, a Red Devils fan, experienced the incident first hand, along with a recording from her mobile phone, which can be viewed below, courtesy to Daily Mail.
The footage shows a Leeds fan in a yellow hoodie pushing a sturdy United fan in Black jacket, as they start throwing punches, with more people joining in.
Caitlin was also quoted by Perth Now saying: “I personally wasn’t scared but quite a few others were and some ladies were screaming so much for police to come as it just escalated so quickly.”
“Some people then left after the police came as it was near the end of the game.”
Another United fan, James Beach, revealed that he and his family had to endure slangs and slurs during the match by a Leeds supporter.
“He was sitting right behind us. We accept that there is rivalry between the two clubs but to go to that extent, he was very abusive,” he said.
“There were so many parents there with young kids under 10, we were all shaking our heads.”
Leeds and Manchester United’s bitter rivalry is famous for being one of the fiercest in English football, and this incident reminds of the regular clashes of the supporters that used to happen back in the 1970s and 80s.
