BWF World Tour Finals 2023 saw the defending champion Viktor Axelsen make a strong comeback on Day 2. The Danish ace player defeated the top seed Kodai Naraoka of Japan in two rounds(21-17, 21-9). Naraoka, who already took a blow in the first round against Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, has made his chances very dim to advance further. While Ginting continued his dominance against Shi Yuqi of China(21-11, 7-21, 17-21). Jonatan Christie also recorded his second straight win by defeating Anders Antonsen.

BWF World Tour Finals 2023: Yuefei & Marin continues dominance while Se Young made a comeback
The top seeded in Women’s Single, An Se Young has redeemed herself in round 2 of BWF WTF after facing a stunning defeat against her fellow countrywoman Kim Ga Yun in two straight rounds on Day 1. The World No.1 has defeated Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in consecutive rounds(21-14, 21-16). While Chen Yuefei and Carolina Marin recorded their second win, Han Yue and Beiwen Zhang suffered their second straight loss.

Men’s Doubles: Yuchen/Xuanyi & Alfian/Ardianto record consecutive win
Yuchen/Xuanyi & Alfian/Ardianto pairs have shown their supremacy winning back to back games, Fikri/Maulana & Chia/Yik pairs have suffered consecutive defeats. While Astrup/Rasmussen & Hoki/Kobayashi pairs stunned with a loss after winning their initial games, the top seeded Weikeng/Chang & Min-hyuk/Seung-jae have made a comeback.
Women’s Doubles:
The pairs of Jia/Chen, Matsuyama/Shida & Baek/Lee have continued their stupendous form. Rahayu/Ramadhanti were defeated after starting their campaign with a win. Liu/Ning got their first win, Matsumoto/Nagahara, Kititharakul/Prajongjai & Kim/Kong were defeated they are on the verge of elimination.
Mixed Doubles:
Huang/Feng, Huang/Zheng & Chae/Seo record successive wins, Higashino/Watanabe took a blow in the second round while Toh/Chen made a comeback. Kim/Jeong, Tse/Tang & Taerattanachai/Puavaranukroh lost two in two and now their chances hang by a thin thread.
