A new day, a new bizarre incident in Italian football. From racist chants to ultras dealing in missiles, Serie A never lacks in dramatic incidents. Well hold onto your seats as Inter Milan’s manager Antonio Conte is being threatened, not from the rivals, but on anonymous threatening letter, carrying along a bullet!

The former Juventus and Chelsea gaffer who joined the Nerazzuris this year, was sent a letter containing several threats and along with a bullet, indicating the former Bianconeri midfielder’s life may be under serious threat, as reported by the country’s news outlets Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport.
Investigations are going on and Conte has been kept under police protection, as the incident is speculated to be a dark and detrimental prank, but suggestions have risen of rival ultras or some crazy supporters may be behind the perpetration.
This may come as a surprise to the rest of the world, but in Italy the ‘gesture’ is common as numerous politicians and celebrities have received such threats or bullets in form of letters.
However, its not all dark and gloomy for the 50 year old as Inter are sitting second on the league table, just one point behind leaders Juventus. They will be facing Torino this Sunday at the Olimpico di Torino.
