Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian captain and Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) President was hospitalised today in the morning after he complained of having acute chest pain.

The former Indian skipper had complained of an acute chest pain and as per the reports he suffered a heart attack while working out in his gym in the morning.

He was completely black out and was immediately rushed to Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital in South Kolkata.

He felt dizzy while being in the gym and he went to the hospital to get the tests done. It was in the hospital that it was informed that he suffered a cardiac issue.

The hospital has now created a 3-member board with Dr. Saroj Mondal who will perform the procedure.

Ganguly is set to get angioplasty done today. Jay Shah, the Secretary of BCCI said, “I’ve spoken to his family. Dada is stable and is responding well to the treatment.”
