Boxing: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner targeted for January

Just a week after it was announced that one of the biggest stars in world boxing Manny Pacquiao has reportedly signed with powerful manager/advisor Al Haymon, thus by leaving his longtime promoter Bob Arum and his manager, Pacquiao is reportedly set to fight Adrien Broner on Fox PPV on January 19.

Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) is most recently coming off a stoppage win over Lucas Matthysse in July in a thrilling fight which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There also have been talks about Pacquiao fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr in a rematch next year after both of them went head to head in Tokyo, Japan.

Floyd Mayweather last fought on 26th August 2017 where he stopped UFC superstar Conor McGregor in the tenth round and made $285 Million and was the highest paid athlete of the year, out-earning the #2 ranked athlete by well over a $100 Million.

Broner is 0-1-1 in his last two outings, a loss to Mikey Garcia in July 2017, followed by a draw with the aforementioned Vargas in April of this year.
