GRAPHIC VIDEO: Boxer shows off 25 stitches after suffering a nasty cut in a fight

The light heavyweight fight between Marcus Browne and former two-division world champion Badou Jack ended in a bloodied affair. Browne beat Jack via unanimous decision on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner last Saturday.
The fight started rather slow, but in the middle rounds, an accidental head clash cut opened a huge opening on Jack’s forehead which kept getting worse as the fight continued.
Surprisingly, Jack went the full 12-rounds and even referee Tony Weeks was soaked in Jack’s blood. He later was subjected to 25-stitches to close the brutal cut.

After getting his face put back together Jack released a statement on Instagram:

“I would like to thank all of the fans for your support! The cut was a nasty one, but I’m fine now, alhamdulillah. Congrats to @mbrowne718 who fought a great fight. Regardless of the cut, he was the better man tonight. I am a warrior and will never quit, but didn’t realize the severity of the gash. I dedicated this fight to the refugee children across the world who fight a much tougher fight than I did tonight. I will continue to fight for them until the end, In shaa Allah. Alhamdulillah for everything.”
