Renowned boxer Nikhat Zareen, a two-time world boxing champion, has officially taken on the role of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana Police. This significant event took place on October 3, 2024, in a ceremony attended by prominent figures including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President B. Mahesh Goud, and Telangana DGP Dr Jitendra.

Nikhat Zareen’s journey to this prestigious position is marked by her exceptional achievements in the world of boxing. Hailing from Nizamabad district, she has made India proud on numerous occasions. Her illustrious career includes a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the Asian Games. She also represented India at the Paris Olympics, showcasing her talent on the global stage.
