On Wednesday, during the game between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the KKR Team management made some changes in their batting order. They started with the opening slot where they sent Rahul Tripathi in place of Sunil Narin along with Shubman Gill.

The same thing happened when the team lost their second wicket for 70 – Nitish Rana, KKR sent big-hitter Sunil Narine at No. 4, before the established batsman as well as pinch-hitter Eoin Morgan. Narine, who lost his place at the opening, tried his best to score quickly while batting in the middle order.

On the other hand, Tripathi repaid his captain and team management’s faith on him and smashed a scintillating 81, despite others failed to stand up and contribute much in the game. Narine hit one four and a six in his 17 off 9 balls knock before getting out. At No. 5, Morgan failed to score big as he was out by the bowling of Sam Curran.

However, many eyebrows were raised because of this move – including all-rounder and Eoin Morgan’s national teammate Ben Stokes. While he has been undergoing a mandatory six-day quarantine period before joining his teammates at Rajasthan Royals squad, he took to Twitter and tweet about this. “Narine before Morgan???” he tweeted.

However, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took the chance and joined the party. He came up with a hilarious reply that left everyone in a laugh. Yuvraj replied to Morgan, “Yeah it’s like Yuvraj before stokes Face with tears of joy! Sometimes u got let the all-rounders go before, bowlers who can bat before a proper batsman to slog.”

Meanwhile, Ben Stokes didn’t respond to that tweet, but it can be said that the all-rounder is all set for his first game of the 2020 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Stokes, who earlier stayed with his family in from New Zealand, has reached the UAE last week.

Notably, his quarantine period will end on Friday (October 9) – the day when his team Rajasthan Royals will take on against Delhi Capitals and the game is important for the team to get back in the winning zone. However, the all-rounder is likely to be included in the playing XI in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday and his inclusion will strengthen the team as well.
