The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled an exciting initiative: the New National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. This state-of-the-art facility is not only for cricketers but also extends its doors to athletes from other disciplines, including the celebrated Olympian Neeraj Chopra.

The NCA aims to be more than just a cricketing hub. It will provide world-class training, recovery, and sports science facilities for athletes beyond the cricketing realm. Chopra, who clinched a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, is among those who will benefit from this inclusive approach.
The NCA boasts three grounds and an impressive 100 pitches, including 45 indoor turfs. Its facilities rival the best in the world, ensuring that athletes receive top-notch support for their training and development.
As part of its commitment to holistic athlete development, the NCA features an Olympic-size swimming pool. This addition recognizes the importance of aquatic fitness and recovery for athletes across disciplines.
The NCA is set to open its doors in September. Athletes like Chopra, who have brought glory to India on the global stage, can now access cutting-edge resources to enhance their performance.
