This early announcement reflects the IPL’s growing prominence and its established window in the international cricket calendar. By providing the schedules well in advance, the BCCI aims to help franchises with better planning for player auctions, team strategies, and overall preparations.

The BCCI has also confirmed the availability of several key international players for the next three seasons. Notably, England fast bowler Jofra Archer has committed to playing all matches in the upcoming seasons and has set his base price at INR 2 crore. Other players from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe have also pledged full participation.

The mega auction for 2025 is scheduled to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25, 2024. This auction will be a crucial event for franchises to build their teams for the upcoming season.
