Baseball enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Baseball United, the pioneering professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and South Asia, has exciting plans for its inaugural season. The league’s first full season kicks off next fall, running from October 23, 2025, to November 23, 2025.
Five Baseball United franchises will compete in the inaugural season

Arabia Wolves
Mid East Falcons
A new franchise based in Riyadh (to be announced soon)
Each team will play 12 regular season games, culminating in a thrilling United Series best-of-three championship featuring the top two teams. Overall, the league will host 33 games in 32 days, bringing an unprecedented sprint of professional baseball to Dubai.
Taking place from February 22, 2025, to March 1, 2025, the Baseball United Cup will feature BU’s first four franchises: the Cobras, Monarchs, Wolves, and Falcons. These teams will compete in an eight-day tournament, showcasing the region’s top baseball talent. The Baseball United Cup represents the first-ever professional franchise baseball games in the history of the Middle East and South Asia.
Baseball United’s franchises consist of top professional players from around the world. In the league’s inaugural draft held in October 2023, 70% of players were originally drafted by Major League Baseball teams. Notable names include former MLB All-Stars like Robinson Cano, Jair Jurrjens, and Andrelton Simmons.
