Barcelona club management are going to bring in one new centre forward in this winter transfer window as the replacement of Munir El Haddadi. Alvaro Morata is the first choice for the Catalan Giants as the new centre forward. Munir El Haddadi left Camp Nou to join Sevilla with a transfer fee worth £1 million in this January.
Munir El Haddadi was not getting enough chances for the Catalan Giants and therefore he decided to leave the club in this transfer window. After his departure, the manager of Barcelona Ernesto Valverde stated,
“There’s space [for a new striker] with Munir leaving,”
“The window’s open and we’ll see if we can bring someone in. If not, we will look to the B team.”
Alvaro Morata is not scoring goals at Chelsea and now he is not even the first choice centre forward of Maurizio Sarri. The Spanish centre forward previously played for Real Madrid and he was successful in La Liga. The Spanish centre forward might regain his previous goalscoring form in the new condition. The club management of the Blues will also like to offload Alvaro Morata to have some funds to buy some other players in this transfer window. So, the deal might be confirmed within few days.
