Barcelona players are currently not interested in sharing the dressing room with Griezmann in case he arrives at the club.
With Antoine Griezmann deciding not to stay at his current club Atletico Madrid for the next season, it might be tough for him to play at Barcelona even if they decide to sign him.
It is understood that the dressing room is not happy to see the arrival of the Frenchman and have made the point clear to their club president Josep Bartomeu. For the first time such a stance has been taken by the players.
The reason for such a decision from the players may have been due to the fact that Griezmann rejected the chance to move to the Catalan giants last summer. The tussle between Barcelona players and Griezmann could have aggravated when Griezmann snubbed the invite from the Barcelona players publically.
Currently it looks as though no player is eager in sharing the dressing room with the Frenchman, unlike last summer when they expressed excitement. Also in a recent poll held by SPORT, 67% of the fans are also not interested in him.
With Frenkie de Jong arriving and potentially even de Ligt later, Griezmann is not currently seen as a priority. It’ll be interesting to see how Valverde and Bartomeu react to this incident.
