In the recent past, the air pollution has reached uncontrollable levels in the national capital. The players sporting a mask during their training session reminded everyone of what the Sri Lankan side did during their test match at Delhi, couple of years ago.

Former Indian cricketer and current MP Gautam Gambhir voiced his opinion on the situation and stated that the air pollution problem should be the first priority and is something far more important than cricket.

“It is a far serious issue than having a game of cricket or any other sports matches happens in Delhi. For us I think people living in Delhi should be more concerned about the pollution levels rather than the cricket match that happens,” Gambhir told ANI.

Rohit Sharma will lead the side in the T20 series as Virat Kohli receives a much needed rest. Bangladesh however will miss the services of their star all-rounder Shakib Al Hassan after he was banned for a year following his failure to report corrupt bookies.

The first T20I will be played in Delhi after which the teams will move to both Rajkot and Nagpur to play the 2nd and 3rd T20I’s respectively.
