The Aussie fans have not been friendly to the Indian players as racial slurs were pointed towards the Indian players on multiple occasions. But, despite the heated rivalry between India and Australia and the final test match at Gabba, one of the Aussie fan did something which would make every Indian proud and surely give goosebumps.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy series has witnessed different emotions from the players as well as the crowd.

Be it the sledding, friendly exchanges, injuries, or a good game of cricket. Even due to bad weather, the match was stopped a couple of times within the five days of play.

But a video clip on Twitter started circulating of an Aussie spectator in attendance during the penultimate day of the fourth and final test match between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The video clip featured the fan chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”.

The Twitter user, Dr Ashutosh Misra(as seen on his Twitter account) had originally shared the video clip of the Aussie spectator.

He had captioned the video clip with, “some extraordinary love for India at display at the Gabba this year”

With that, he has stolen several hearts and has proved that the game of cricket has friendship and love towards a nation.

A similar incident was witnessed last year as well when a New Zealand fan had also chanted “Vande Mataram” during the T20 match between the Kiwis and Team India.

India conquered the Gabba test against Australia to retain the prestigious trophy and also created history after defeating the Aussies at Gabba, where they were undefeated for the last 32 years.
