The Men In Blue, despite not being able to get away with a win at the MCG, would be proud of their efforts after bringing the Aussies to their knees. While the rain washed away India’s prospect of winning their eight consecutive T20I series in a row, the series is still alive with the prize waiting in Sydney.

A late injury to pacer Billy Stanlake has forced the hosts to bring in the ferocious Mitchell Starc for the fixture. With two consecutive poor outings by the Aussie top order, Aaron Finch has a lot to think about if the side has to intimidate the sturdy Indian bowling line-up which got into their groove after the mauling at Gabba.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli would hope that the side replicates their showing at the MCG to level the series and gain significant momentum for the crucial four-match test series.
