When the two cricketing titans India and Pakistan meet in Ahmedabad for the ODI World Cup 2023, on Saturday, October 14, they will begin a new chapter in their long-standing rivalry.
The epic match will take place at the world’s largest cricket arena, Narendra Modi arena. Legends of Indian cinema, including Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, are reportedly expected to attend the stadium to watch the eagerly awaited match. However, for the intense match, Sachin Tendulkar, the “Master Blaster,” will also be in attendance. In addition, a live performance by renowned Bollywood vocalist Arijit Singh is anticipated for the momentous occasion.
Notably, the 2023 ODI World Cup opening ceremony was postponed, but there may still be a program before India and Pakistan play.
It is anticipated that many VIPs will attend the India vs. Pakistan match. On that day, the Bollywood stars event is scheduled to begin at 12:40 PM and conclude at 1:10 PM. Children will escort teams to the ground and function as the game’s mascots.
There will be 20–25 media outlets from Pakistan attending the match. Anil Patel, secretary of GCA added that they had made all the arrangements and had received the permissions as well. There will also likely be PCB officials present for the game.
