Recently, in a thrilling showdown at the WTT Contender Lagos 2024, India’s Sreeja Akula and Archana Kamath triumphed in the women’s doubles event. The Indian duo secured the title with a commanding 3-0 victory over fellow compatriots Diya Chitale and Yashaswini Ghorpade 11-9, 11-6, 12-10.

Sreeja and Archana’s path to the title was marked by a series of impressive performances. In the semifinals, they faced the Asian Games bronze medallists Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee.
