Anmol Kharb, a rising star in Indian badminton, has once again proven her mettle by securing her second consecutive title on the BWF Continental Circuit. The 17-year-old shuttler from Faridabad achieved this remarkable feat by winning the Poland International, held in Lublin, with a straight-game victory over Switzerland’s Milena Schnider in the women’s singles final.
Anmol Kharb’s Dominant Performance in Poland
Kharb’s performance in the Poland International was nothing short of spectacular. She outclassed the seventh seed Schnider with a commanding 21-12, 21-8 win in the final, which lasted just 33 minutes. This victory came on the heels of her maiden international title at the Belgian International the previous week, where she also displayed exceptional skill and determination.
Kharb’s journey to the title in Poland was marked by a series of impressive victories. She began her campaign with a 21-17, 21-16 win over Denmark’s top seed Amalie Schulz, whom she had defeated in the final of the Belgian International. She then defeated Lithuania’s Samanta Golubickaite 21-9, 21-17, followed by a 21-12, 21-7 victory over Ukraine’s Sofiia Lavrova in the second round. In the semifinals, Kharb stunned Denmark’s fourth seed Frederikke Lund with a 21-15, 21-12 win, setting the stage for her dominant performance in the final.

Kharb’s recent successes have significantly boosted her ranking. Following her victory in Belgium, she leaped 55 positions in the BWF rankings, and her triumph in Poland is expected to further elevate her standing. Currently ranked 165th, Kharb’s consistent performances have made her a player to watch in the international badminton circuit.
