Gennady Golovkin sues his managers for ₹25 Crore ($3.5 Million)

Former WBC, IBF, WBA, IBO Middleworld champion of the world Gennady Golovkin has sued his former managers, brothers Maximilian and Oleg Hermann.

Golovkin has claimed that the brothers have taken advantage of the former middleweight kingpin for years. They took Millions of dollars in license fees and a higher percentage of the commission fees.

Hermann brothers want commission fees from GGG for his recent fight against Canelo Alvarez, even though they failed to provide services to GGG on his behalf and worked against him.

GGG seeks ₹25 Crore ($3.5 Million) in damages from the brothers and also wants to end the professional relationship, even though according to The Blast, the former champ ended their relationship back in 2017.

He claims the Hermanns “have used their illegal, unlicensed relationship with Golovkin to extract millions of dollars in wholly impermissible and unconscionable fees, and now seek millions more.”

GGG has been rumoured to make ₹178 Crore ($25 Million) from the Canelo Alvarez rematch is now all set to sign with sports streaming service DAZN where the Kazak superstar is set to make almost ₹320 Crore for two fights. One of them is supposed to be a trilogy against Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.
