As per the recent Air Quality Index  calculation at 8:30 am in the morning on 25th October, the atmosphere near Delhi University reads a worrying AQI of 357, very poor according to the reading standards, as the ‘safe’ or moderate level is till 200.

However, as still seven days remain till the 3 day series kicks off, the BCCI and DDCA officials are assuring a gradual decrease in pollution levels in the coming week.

A BCCI official was quoted, via Sportstar: “Look, we have factored in the post Diwali air pollution in Delhi but since the match is a week away, we are hopeful that the players won’t face any health hazards.”

it was also revealed that the Bangladesh team’s travel plan has been scheduled in accordance to the expected AQI reducting in the next few days, and the Tigers are also expected to carry air filter masks.

“The travel itinerary has been chalked in such a manner that Bangladesh will directly arrive in Delhi and exit the country from Kolkata. We wanted to make the travelling convenient that it starts from north, goes to west (Nagpur, Rajkot, Indore) and finishes in the east (Kolkata),” the official added.
