Hardik Pandya’s life since the past few months has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. The backlash that he faced due to the sexist comments made by him on Koffee With Karan resulted into him getting a show-cause notice from the BCCI and a suspension. He has moved on past the controversy riding on several game-changing performances in this year’s IPL for his franchise to redeem himself.
However, when the popular television actress Krystle D’Souza uploaded a picture with Hardik Pandya on Instagram with a caption “Mere Bhai Jaisa Koi Hard ich Nahi Hai #brotherfromanothermother”. A certain section of the users did not leave a chance in commenting about the controversial comments made by the all-rounder in the past.
Things got out of hand when racist comments also started pouring in on the post, with notably the comment that caught the most attention was “Kaalu bhai. Aap West indies team ke world cup squad main select kyun nahi huye?
It was actor Aparshakti Khurana who came out in support of Pandya with a reply to a racist comment made by a user named Sameer “I think you should not write such comments and definitely not use such language. We all love Hardik because he is a performer. You should rather encourage the Indian team, especially before the World Cup.” posted Khurana.
Krystle thereon appreciated the comment from Khurana as well as thanked him as she replied “That’s so well put! People are so mean and obnoxious and just because they are sitting behind a screen typing, they think they can get away with anything! I guess ignorance is bliss in this case! Their words make no difference to his superb performance… BUT thank you,”
Pandya also got a lot of support from the fans as they lashed out on the user for making derogatory comments on the all-rounder.
