Individual player stats of this year’s Premier League are out already, and in the category of successful tackles, the list is topped by none other than Manchester United’s brand new full back Aaron Wan Bissaka!
The right back, who also is a squad member of the England national under-21 football team, has made 15 successful tackles, higher than any other defender in the league, followed by Leicester City wing back Ricardo Pereira, who secured a total of 13 tackles made.
The former Crystal Palace defender was a high priority target of Red Devils gaffer Solskjær this transfer window, to shuffle up the starting squad.
The 21 year old arrived at Old Traford in June for £50 million, which is turning out to be a very good investment for the Devils.
Wan Bissaka already caught everyone’s attention with the marvelous recovery against United’s face off against Serie A giants Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup, back in July.
Here’s a clip of Wan Bissaka in action during the match, uploaded by Twitter user @Tarum_7.
