With the turn of the new year, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey’s contract with the Gunners enters its final period of 6 months, and the Wales international is now free to negotiate with foreign clubs over his next possible destination. However, Serie A leaders Juventus appear to be welcoming the Welshman come June.
Ramsey was informed last November that his contract at Arsenal would not be extended further, and with the same contract running out at the end of the season, Ramsey is due to be a free agent. Amongst the many clubs who have shown interest in the midfielder, including Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Serie A giants Juventus appear to have almost done the deal successfully, and that Ramsey would now be on his out of the Emirates in the coming summer.
However, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain were reported to have swooped in at the last minute to snatch away Ramsey from their transfer rivals in lieu of hiring the Welshman. But Ramsey has reportedly all the advances and contract offers from the French club, and is apparently keen on flying across the world over to Italy with the commencement of the following season.
As per reports in Italy, Ramsey, 29, has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Turin side ahead of his joining the Bianconeri, who have offered him €7m-a-year in a deal that would run for four years, with incentives also included based on performance and games played.
With advances from PSG rejected straight on, a new life in Italy awaits the Welshman after a decade of servitude for the north London club.
