Jaipur Pink Panthers thrash U Mumbai in Pro Kabaddi Season 10

The former champions U Mumba and Jaipur Pink Panthers locked horns in Pro Kabaddi Season 10 on Saturday night at Dome by NSCI. Both teams are coming off on a 5 match winning streak and the defending champions Panthers humbled the home team U Mumba(41-31) in a rather dominating performance.

Arjun Deshwal(17 raid points) starred for Panthers along with Reza Mirbhagheri(4 tackle points) and Ankush(5 tackle points) who inflicted crucial tackles.

For U Mumba Guman Singh(13 raid points) was the standout performer, while Captain Surinder Singh, Bittu and Sombir had a nightmare in defense.

Pro Kabaddi: Panthers off to a dream start

U Mumba’s Guman Singh started with a couple of 2 points raid, as the home team dominated in the first five minutes. But the defending champions came back strongly, thanks to Arjun Deshwal who got quick points for the team and inflicted an all out in the 8th minute, giving an inaccessible lead of 7 points(12-7)

After the timeout, Mumbai were able to send Arjun to bench. Panthers’ Ajith Kumar executes a super raid in a do or die raid. Guman Singh continue to impress with consecutive points, but doesn’t find support from others. Arjun returns and secures another point while Guman Singh was sent to bench at the stroke of break.

Panthers got a 9 point lead(22-13) at the end of 1st half.

Pro Kabaddi: Panthers continue the lead

Guman Singh continues to be the lone warrior for Mumbai. Arjun Deshwal continued his dream form on a regular basis, collecting a couple of 2 points in the do or die raids. Arjun also got Guman in the meanwhile, and put the opposition in trouble. U Mumba looked clueless as Panthers inflicted another all out in the 8th minute of the second half.

Reza Mirbhagheri and Ankush also provided support to his captain with successful tackles. U Mumba found some respite at a point with Alireza’s conescutive raid points, but couldn’t withstand the brilliance of Panthers’ defenders.

Panthers won with a 10 point lead and move to 2nd spot in the points table, while U Mumba slip to 6th.
