15th August 2020 marks India’s 74th day of independence from the British rule.  On this auspicious occasion, the nation’s sporting fraternity comes together on on social media to celebrate.

Commemorating the day, when India became free from the shackles of the colonial rule, remembering the endeavours of our eminent national heroes and honourable freedom fighters and their sacrifices made to be free from the grasp of colonial rule, several Indian cricketers and sportspersons joined hands on Twitter to tribute the historic event.
