The year of 2019 is almost over, and looking back at last 12 months in the sport of football has given us enough eye candy. This time, its for the fans of the English Premier League, where we saw numerous breathtaking screamers. Below here are the top five best Premier League goals of 2019:
Daniel James against Crystal Palace
Former Swansea City winger Daniel James’s arrival at the Old Trafford has been fruitful for the Red Devils. The 22 year old Wales international is earning praise on the flank for Solskjaer’s side, and his goal in the Crystal Palace game in August does them justice. Tammy Abraham against Watford
Rising from the youth system at Chelsea, Tammy Abraham has been an indomitable force up in front for Frank Lampard. The 22 year old young English attacker has already scored 11 goals this season. A surgically precise through from Jorginho, and his spectacular one touch finish versus Watford last month is arguably his best. João Moutinho against AFC Bournemouth
No matter how difficult the angle to the crossbar can be, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder João Moutinho can put the ball into the net. In last month’s fixture against Bournemouth, the veteran Portuguese accurately swerved the ball into the far corner from a difficult spot outside the box. Sadio Mané against Newcastle United
When its a matchday for Liverpool, all eyes stay glued on the inevitable Sadio Mané. The Senegalese attacker has shown tremendous form in the season, and his goal in the September Newcastle game is a pointer. The Belgian Kevin De Bruyne is an indomitable spirit in the Manchester City lineup, and his consistent production of sublime goals are the stout proof. The former Chelsea and VFL Wolfsburg midfielder is the trump card for Pep Guardiola. In the game against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago, the 28 year old’s sensational strike from the distance is one for the talks. A reverse pass from the Citizens forward Gabriel Jesus, and KDB thrashed the ball soaring over Bernd Leno, and into the Gunners net.
