- John Brzenk
Hailing from the United States, Brzenk is widely regarded as the greatest arm-wrestler by experts and the Guinness Book Of World Records as well.
Coming from a family with a heritage of arm-wrestling, Brzenk was heavily influenced by the art by his father John Brzenk Sr. The player earned an early reputation as a “Giant Crusher” after easily being able to defeat opponents twice his size with the impressive forearm size which he claims to obtain through genetics.
Brzenk’s right and left forearm measures 16 and 13.5 inches respectively and only a few names have had the honour of defeating him.

2. Dave Chaffee
Known as “Easy Money”, Chaffee has had a rough ride to the top with numerous injuries to his hand and back proving to be a hurdle.

3. Devon Larratt
Devon “No Limits” Larratt, is a Canadian arm-wrestler is one of the few names to defeat John Brzenk. Larratt leaned towards the sport in his early teens and honed his skills while working with the Canadian Special Forces.
The 44-year-old was forced to rely on his left-hand for competing after undergoing surgery on his right arm and elbow in 2013. He was forced to have the surgery on his left arm as well but managed to recover and win the World Armwrestling League in 2016.
Larratt’s other claim to fame includes the rare feat of being the right and left arm world champion at the same time.
4. Michael Todd
The innovator of the highly controversial King’s move, there is more to than just that when it comes to Michael Todd. Winning over 30 titles across national and world landscape, “The Monster” is one of the household names when it comes to the sport of arm wrestling.
Todd was forced to resort to the King’s Move where he gains height by dropping below the table. The move was given birth after 46-year-old suffered multiple fractures to his arm. The awkward style is often countered by the elite with their technique and strength.
5. Levan Saginashvili
Currently regarded as one of the best when it comes to right arm-wrestling, Levan Saginashvili got into the sport by accident after joining a gym, where his trainer encouraged him to go for it.
The Georgian began with little steps by watching videos of the sport on YouTube and eventually idolizing John Brzenk.
2014 turned out to be a landmark year for Saginashvili after securing the gold medal at the World Championships.
