MS Dhoni Surprises Everyone As He Sets Field For Bangladesh While Batting

MS Dhoni seldom fails to astonish the cricket fraternity when he is on the field. Similarly, during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019’s Warm-up match where India squared off against Bangladesh in Cardiff, the former India captain was involved in a hilarious on-field incident.

MS Dhoni setting the field is not a rare sight despite Virat Kohli taking over the captaincy from him. However, doing the same thing for the opponent captain while batting is amusing.

When Sabbir Rahman came in to deliver the 39th over of the match, Dhoni decided to toy with the Bangladesh players. MS stopped the bowler mid-way through and pointed at a fielder positioned and gestured him to move to a different position. It was bewildering to see that the fielder actually changed his position post the incident. The following is the video of the same posted by a Twitter user.

MS Dhoni looked in a spectacular touch in the game showing flashes of the vintage Dhoni as he ended scoring 113 runs in 78 balls where he struck 8 fours and 7 maximums that helped India put up a mammoth score of 359 which proved to be too much for Bangladesh as they were bundled out for 264.
