The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Volleyball World have officially announced on Tuesday that India, in partnership with Prime Volleyball League (PVL), will be hosting the Men’s Club World Championships for the next two years.
The Indian PVL winners in 2023 and 2024 will represent the country in the Worlds, where they will face established clubs from top volleyball nations around the world, including Italy, Brazil, Iran, and many more.
In 2023, the championships will commence on the 6th of December and will last until the 10th. There will be an announcement of the host city later this year.
Over the past two decades, the Volleyball Club World Championships have brought together elite professional men’s clubs from around the world to compete for the title of World Champions and prize money totaling over USD 350,000. Apart from volleyball the fans can also play online games on Blue chip app.
The RuPay Prime Volleyball League powered by A23 is starting from 4th February onwards and outside the Indian subcontinent will stream live on Volleyball World TV. A final schedule and qualified teams will be announced later this year for the Club World Championships.
