2011 World Cup Star Hilariously Praises Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Young Talent

Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer known for his explosive batting and all-round skills, recently took to Twitter to share a light-hearted suggestion. In a tweet that caught the attention of cricket fans and social media enthusiasts alike, Yuvraj proposed an interesting marketing idea for Sunrisers Hyderabad’s two of his fellow cricketers.

Yuvraj Singh Laudes Abhisek Sharma

Yuvraj Singh, the legendary cricketer known for his explosive batting and witty remarks, recently showered praise on SRH star Abhishek Sharma after his blistering 16-ball fifty against MI. Yuvraj’s tweet was both humorous and appreciative, capturing the essence of cricket banter.

In his tweet, Yuvraj playfully invoked the saying, “Laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahi maante!” (Roughly translated: “Those who’ve been kicked don’t listen to words!”). He acknowledged Abhishek Sharma’s brilliant innings while also poking fun at the shot that led to his dismissal.

In the end, Yuvraj also praised the South African finisher who hit seven sixes and led the innings to a huge total of 277.

A new record for Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma recently etched his name in the annals of IPL history with a blazing performance that left fans in awe. Representing the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Abhishek achieved the fastest fifty for his team during a group clash against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2024.

Abhishek’s innings was nothing short of spectacular. In just 23 balls, he blazed his way to a breathtaking 63 runs. What’s more impressive? He brought up his fifty in just 16 balls, breaking Travis Head’s record for the fastest fifty by an SRH batter. Head had achieved his half-century in 18 balls earlier in the same match.
