Thirty years, the fans of Liverpool FC kept patience for the Premier League trophy to come to Mersyside. Finally, with a star studded, Champions League and Club World Cup winning squad and under the marvellous guidance of Jürgen Klopp, the Reds have won the league, three decades since their last one in the 1989-90 season, when the league was still known as the ‘First Division’. Even under the troubling times of the COVID-19 pandemic and past three months of uncertainty, the moments are glorious at the Anfield.

The title race between Liverpool’s 19th trophy versus the defending champions Manchester City ended after Chelsea snatched a 2-1 victory over Pep and his side yesterday at Stamford Bridge. With 86 points from 31 matches, Liverpool finishes the trophy run with still seven games remaining, as the global football scene reacts on the club’s glorious achievement.

In addition to many footballers, sportspersons and pundits flood Twitter with congratulatory posts on Liverpool’s astounding feat, supporters all over the world, who waited for generations to see the club as the champions of England, come up with wholesome reactions to the auspicious moment, as their patience finally ends with joy.

Below here are 100 hand picked wholesome tweets on Liverpool’s triumph, that will put a smile on your face.

Such a strange feeling it is, no? All this time I have been supporting a club who won their last league title before I even came on the planet. UNREAL! #LFC #Liverpool #PremierLeague

Football is so powerful and the love you feel for a club and team is surreal. What Klopp has done at Liverpool is unreal. This moment has been building. Amazing tribute to one of the most phenomenal teams to grace the game ❤️ #LFCchampions #Liverpool #Klopp https://t.co/3J6qexBctM

We are luckier than those who haven’t seen their favourite team wining #PL

I am saddened for the fact many of our fellow fans are not with us in this time of celebration.#YNWA This is for all of the missing
Time to say we are the Champions. 🙂

Don’t need much of an excuse to re-post these photos but winning The Premier League is a pretty good one.

Well deserved champions of Premier league #Liverpool …. for a club of their stature they should have won before. What a team #jurgenklopp has built for future, I’m sure if the club would keep the core team with Klopp as manager, they will win more.#Anfield #liverpoolfans enjoy pic.twitter.com/2LL1qeOKix

I have just added a top priority on the wishlist bucket.

Want to meet Jurgen Klopp once in my lifetime and just want to say him 'Thank you'. Nothing else but 'Thank you' for all the happiness he has given to the @LFC community!#Liverpool

I have just messaged the Man City supporters at work, warning them of how unbearable I will be in the next few months. #YNWA #LFC #PLChampions2020 #unbearable

I remember the last time we won it, never in my life did I think it would be 30 years until the next one. With Klopp in charge we won't have to wait another 30 for the next. Thank you Jurgen 🙏 #Liverpool https://t.co/Hq9LoUtxW4

Owen, Gerrard, Hypiia, Houllier, Pepe, Kuyt, Lucas, Skertl, Agger, Torres, Suarez, Rafa, Coutinho, Sturridge. Thanks to all of you and many more who helped me love @LFC for the last 20 years. Beyond happy today. #YNWA #ThisMeansMore #EPLchampions

I didn’t know how I’d feel about winning the league this way, with social distancing etc. But that mattered not, I still could not fight back the tears of joy. It’s been a long slog but we did it. At the end of the storm theres a golden sky. #champions #Liverpool

Old enough and fortunate enough to remember the last time…and had to endure the long drought since. Success comes and goes so drink it in while it’s here. Thinking of those no longer with us who would’ve loved this. #the96 #Dad #YNWA #LFCchampions
